Il processo ai Chicago 7 trionfa agli Eddie Awards e ai Golden Reel

Ieri sono stati assegnati due premi di categoria, vale a dire gli Eddie Awards (assegnati dall’associazione dei montatori) e i Golden Reel Awards (riguardanti il montaggio sonoro). In entrambi i casi, a trionfare è stato Il processo ai Chicago 7 di Aaron Sorkin.

In vista degli Oscar ormai imminenti (la cerimonia avrà luogo domenica 25 aprile), i due premi vinti da Il processo ai Chicago 7 lo pongono tra i favoriti, se non proprio per le categorie principali, almeno in quelle tecniche. C’è da dire, però, che per quanto riguarda il sonoro, quest’anno agli Oscar non ci saranno più due categorie (sonoro e montaggio sonoro) bensì una sola, e per il miglior sonoro il film di Sorkin non è candidato. Anche perché la presenza di Tenet potrebbe cambiare le carte in tavola.
