[Los Angeles Film Critics Association] A Moonlight i due premi più importanti dell’edizione 2016

Nella tarda serata odierna si sono tenute le premiazioni del LAFCA 2016, ovvero i premi assegnati dalla Los Angeles Film Critics Association ai migliori film della stagione oramai in dirittura d’arrivo.

Come successo per la New York Film Critics Circle, anche in quest’occasione chi ha brillato è stato Moonlight, il piccolo capolavoro diretto da Barry Jenkins ha infatti portato a casa i due premi più importanti (Miglior Film e Miglior Regia), senza però dimenticare quello dedicato al Miglior Attore non Protagonista a Mahershala Ali e quello relativo alla Miglior Fotografia.

La La Land si accontenta invece del premio alla Miglior Colonna Sonora, anche se c’è da dire che il film di Damien Chazelle è arrivato finalista in quasi tutte le categorie, comprese Miglior Film e Miglior Regia.

Va ricordato che i premi assegnati dalla Los Angeles Film Critics Association spesso non danno punti di riferimento importanti riguardo alle scelte dell’Academy per gli Oscar, ma semplicemente tanta visibilità ai titoli meno quotati.
