Nella notte sono stati assegnati i DGA Awards 2024, i premi assegnati dalla Directors Guild of America alle Migliori Regie della stagione.
Lo sprint finale per gli Oscars 2024 è oramai lanciato, e Christopher Nolan da ieri ha messo un nuovo mattone in vista della vittoria finale nella categoria Miglior Regia. Il lavoro del regista con Oppenheimer (qui la nostra recensione) gli è valso questa notte il premio principale ieri ai DGA Awards. Come noto, i premi assegnati dall’Associazione dei Registi Hollywoodiani hanno un peso specifico fondamentale, portando spesso l’Academy a confermare il nome del vincitore anche per gli Oscars. Sarà ancora così?
Celine Song ha vinto il premio come miglior regista di un’opera prima per Past Lives; in ambito televisivo, invece, Peter Hoar e Christopher Storer hanno trionfato rispettivamente per le regie di The Last of Us e The Bear.
