Critics’ Choice Awards: Mank domina le nomination 2021

Ad inizio settimana la Critics Choice Association ha annunciato le nomination relative all’edizione 2021 degli attesi Critics’ Choice Awards.

Come ampiamente vociferato, il biopic Mank sarà tra i protagonisti della stagione dei premi che culminerà con gli Oscars 2021: il nuovo film di David Fincher ha guadagnato ben 12 nomination, tra cui Miglior Film e Miglior Regia, con Gary Oldman e Amanda Seyfried anche candidati ad un premio.

Minari di Lee Isaac Chung ha raccolto 10 candidature, con Black Bottom di Ma Rainey e Notizie dal Mondo a seguire, rispettivamente con 8 e 7 nomination. Tra gli attori Olivia Coleman è riuscita a raccogliere una nomination sia per le categorie cinematografiche (The Father) che televisive (The Crown).

I vincitori saranno annunciati in una cerimonia che andrà in onda a marzo su The CW. Taye Diggs tornerà come presentatore per il terzo anno consecutivo.
