Sono state annunciate quest’oggi le nominations relative ai VES Awards 2019 (Visual Effects Society), ovvero i premi annuali assegnati all’industria cinematografica dall’associazione degli artisti degli effetti visivi.
Come noto, i VES Awards rappresentano un valido punto di riferimento in vista dell’assegnazione delle nominations degli Oscars nella categoria Migliori Effetti Visivi. A tal proposito, segnaliamo il grande exploit – atteso – di Avengers: Infinity War (ben 6 candidature), e la clamorosa assenza di Black Panther, quest’ultimo tra i film più attesi dell’intera manifestazione organizzata dall’Academy.
Tra gli altri film che hanno ottenuto più nominations, segnaliamo Ready Player One e Gli Incredibili 2, entrambi con 5 candidature. Jurassic World: Il Regno Distrutto ne ha raccolte 3, mentre First Man e Aquaman solo 2.
